Description
A standard 3.5mm stereo headphone adapter to two crocodile clips.
This won’t give you stereo, but it does play in both ears!
The black lead goes on GND, the green lead goes on 0.
It doesn’t matter if they are put on the other way round, this item is not polarity sensitive.
Some early ones may be yellow & green.
This code block example plays five notes when button A is pressed.
A fuller script, Music, will play a couple of tunes and act as a light controlled theremin.
Transcribing music to the micro:bit is a great co-operative activity, those that can read music can assist those that don’t.
The standard notes are all in the middle C octave.
You can enter a frequency in Hertz for other notes, drag over a number block and enter the frequency:
In this table, C4 is middle C.
